About Marysia Miernowska

Marysia Miernowska is the director of the California branch of The Gaia School of Healing & Earth Education and the master herbalist of Wild Love Apothecary.

As an herbalist, witch, biodynamic gardener and Plant Spirit Medicine Practitioner she is rooted in the Wise Woman Tradition of Healing. Marysia holds ceremony & teaches herbal medicine, plant shamanism, regenerative farming practices, and Earth magick at The Gaia School of Healing CA and at Wild Love Apothecary.

A multilingual and multicultural devotee of Mother Earth, Marysia has spent her life traveling extensively to learn and share different regenerative ways of tending to the Earth, healing land and people. With a background as a community organizer and activist, Marysia's diverse work invites us into active inquiry and participation around the theme: How can we be medicine ~ for ourselves, each other & the Earth?

As an educator and director of The Gaia School of Healing CA, Marysia teaches a 10 month long intensive and herbalist training, The Sacred Plant Medicine Apprenticeship. Many of the school's graduates have gone on to start successful medicine lines or offer herbalism in their healing practices. With a love and appreciation for collaboration, Marysia curates events, workshops, speakers and educational opportunities for the public to enjoy at Wild Love Apothecary and on the land, at The Gaia School. Marysia teaches & speaks at conferences internationally, writes, interviews for TV and radio, and appears as a guest expert on TV shows.

With a passion for permaculture, biodynamic gardening and a background in design, Marysia consults with farms and land owners, offering her signature customized "Regenerative Land Plan" and designing edible and medicinal sacred gardens. As a medicine maker, Marysia grows organic and biodynamic herbs in Malibu, makes sacred plant botanicals for Wild Love Apothecary and formulates products as a consultant.

Marysia's dream is to help create a Regenerative Living Center in the greater LA area with the aim of healing the separation between the land and our people. Both the Southern California ecosystem and people are suffering with a loss of connection to each other and through her work, Marysia has seen the healing, magick and transformation that occurs when we heal this relationship. Marysia is currently looking for donations of land and support in making this dream a reality.
